  • You want to learn how to set up your environment for success
  • You are looking for a community of like-minded people who will support you in this journey
  • You want an evidence-based course that’ s focused on your physical and emotional wellness, instead of on how much weight you can lose in how short a time

What EA40 IS NOT

  • A PRESCRIPTIVE DIET
We don’t do meal plans, counting, tracking, or weighing of bodies or food. This is not the place to come if you’re looking to be told what to eat, or if you’re just interested in losing as much weight as you can in as little time as possible.
  • PERSONAL COUNSELLING
While Abby hosts Zoom group counseling, this is not a replacement for individual counseling. It is recommended that if you need more intensive, individual counseling, you do EA40 concurrently or after you work with a therapist or dietitian.

FAQ’s

Nope. I’ve never done meal plans, and probably never will. While EA40 has some structure, it is not written in a way that maps out every bite of food for you. I don’t believe that that’s helpful, and it certainly doesn’t teach anyone how to self-manage their eating. If you’re looking for a very structured program with meal plans, ‘eat this, not that’ lists and very specific weight loss goals and promises, this is not the program for you.

EA40 does have a weight-loss slant that may result in weight loss for some people. Take this course not because your sole desire is to fit into your old jeans; take it because you want to walk up a hill without huffing and puffing; because you want to improve your overall health; because you want to set a good example for your kids; and because you want to do something good for yourself. My philosophy is that finding our comfortable weight is often the result when we stop obsessing about the number on the scale and focusing on the size we think we ‘should’ be. The positive behavioural changes you’ll make with this course are designed to improve your health physically and emotionally.
