I began my career as a dietitian over 25 years ago in hospitals, working in medicine, gastroenterology, and ICU. Then, I spent ten years in primary care, providing care to everyone from babies to the elderly. I’ve been the Clinical Lead dietitian at two major Toronto hospitals.

I started Abby Langer Nutrition in 2013, thinking it would be me just writing blogs and developing recipes. I never expected the trajectory from a part-time side gig to a full-time business with a successful counseling practice that I love, a bestselling book, and courses that have helped hundreds of women thrive in midlife and beyond.

I am on the Men’s Health Magazine Nutrition Advisory Board, and am a regular contributor and expert for multiple media outlets including CBC, Men’s Health Magazine, USA Today, Forbes, and many more.

I love nutrition, science, and changing peoples’ lives. I’m lucky to be able to do all of that, every single day.
