Nutrition should be simple, but it’s rarely easy. If you need an expert to guide you in your nutrition journey, I’m now taking a limited number of private counselling clients!

MY NUTRITION PHILOSOPHY:
BE A PENCIL, NOT AN ERASER. 

That means, I want to help you add foods to your diet, not take them away. 24 years as a dietitian has shown me time and time again that restriction and punishing diets don’t work…not for the long-term.

Food is only one part of the equation. Our attitudes towards food, eating, and our bodies are often formed in our childhood. I help clients untangle their feelings and negative core beliefs around these things, because they’re intimately linked to our food choices and our ‘why.’

This work is important for lasting, meaningful change!

Abby is the person to work with when it comes to nutrition and food counselling. Her empathetic approach, warm personality, and vast nutrition knowledge are why her clients love her…and why they’re so successful in making changes to their nutrition and relationship with food.

What will our sessions look like?

All sessions are virtual and done on Zoom within Practice Better, a platform that’s private and secure.

All sessions are up to one hour in length, and are focused on your goals, lifestyle, preferences, and history. I will not give you meal plans, shopping lists, or eat this/not that lists. 

Rather, I teach you how to self-manage your nutrition through behaviour change and the creation of healthy habits. Eating behaviours and belief systems figure greatly into this equation, so we’ll be looking at those, too! 

I offer one package of three one-hour sessions. I do not offer one-by-one sessions, because I believe that clients need continuity and follow-up in order to work through concerns and establish change.
